Data Residency

Your documents never leave the United States. Every document, database record and backup is stored in Google Cloud's US region (us-central1, in Iowa), and all processing of document content, including AI search and OCR, happens in the United States.

Some services run elsewhere: your account details are held in Sydney, Australia; your sign-in details are held by Google in the United States; payments are handled by Stripe in the United States; and our email service keeps a delivery record in Sydney, Australia.
